Re: What are "Autographs" in the sense of Production Art?
I'm curious, are copies a significant worry for sketches on shikishi? It seems like it would be much harder to make photocopies on shikishi but I'm sure it's doable.

Re: Shikishi Storage
Thanks cutiebunny! I'm curious if the cheaper boards also warp faster or it's primarily restricted to yellowing of the paper. Have you noticed any yellowing to Daiso boards that you put in with microchamber paper? It would be interesting to have a timetable on how long Daiso boards are good for befo...

Re: Shikishi Storage
Thanks I got fairly lucky with the silent auction. You won one too right? Yours looks outstanding. Yea I know to avoid Daiso boards although it's somewhat hard to identify them just from looking at them unless they're packaged. I wish I was capable enough of looking at and then knowing which type of...

Shikishi Storage
So I got some new shikishi that I want to store to the best of my ability (no cold rooms yet) and I just got some poly bags and microchamber paper. I hadn't used microchamber paper before when storing my shikishi but I saw that somebody had recommended it so I threw a few sheets in with each shikish...

Re: Sailor Moon collectors...
^ The US$40K (adjusted for exchange rate) item wasn't a shikishi, but rather an original page of manga artwork. It was supposedly drawn by Osamu Tezuka, and anything even remotely affiliated with Tezuka always goes for stupid high prices. Other than the tape burns, it was in good shape for its age....

I'm curious does Mandarake try to verify whether their goods are legit or not? Someone mentioned they do try to some extent.

Re: Crowdfunding Rewards
I've donated to two anime related Kickstarters. The first being LWA and the other Under the Dog. I'm not overly worried about it. Yoshinari doesn't tend to half-ass things and all of the shikishi he's done have been phenomenal. He really loves LWA and working on it so I expect he'll put some time an...

Watercolors peeling on shikishi
So I've had this shikishi for roughly 8 or so months and I've kept it in a closet the entire time. I decided to check on it today and parts of the watercolors are peeling of sorts. It's not serious in that it's coming off in strips but like dots. I haven't tried scraping it off and it hasn't really ...

People or companies who do background creation?
So I have a couple of cels without backgrounds and I'm definitely not skilled enough myself in order to create one that looks semi-professional. I'm wondering if there are people/companies out there that work on stuff like this in which I can pay them?

Trying To Find Spreadsheet That Updated When A Store Updated
Hello, I remember I had a spreadsheet/website bookmarked where if an anime cel store updated then the spreadsheet would update. It was an easy way of keeping track of multiple stores. I lost the bookmark and I can't find whoever put the spreadsheet together. Does anybody have an idea about what I'm ...
