Re: Gallery items up for offers...

My apologies for probably being a bit dense but how do I go about viewing your gallery?

Re: Taking offers Vapalla's Cels

Doh! Gotta learn to check back more often. Missed the window this go around but I'll make a point to check back from time to time to see if it's ever back on.

Re: Taking offers Vapalla's Cels

Are you perhaps able to provide prices for those of us unqualified to make offers?

Re: Best Scanners for Scanning Cels?

Hmm, maybe I'm missing something but aren't backgrounds typically colorful? Do you mean the unfinished back side of one? Ironically I'm trying to scan a large background. I'm also not sure paper would be heavy enough to hold the background down (which it needs because part of the background is actua...

Re: Best Scanners for Scanning Cels?

Thank you all for your input. I finally put it to good use and picked up a used Epson 11000XL which just arrived today! Of course the second thing I decided to scan is a large format item which requires me to detach the lid which is simple enough. For those of you experienced with scanning larger it...

Re: Persona 5

As much as I love Soejima's artwork (Aegis perhaps being my favorite character design of all time), I have yet to play any of the Persona games. My ability to indulge in a console has been stuck in an anticadence with the availability of JRPGs for over a decade now that I'd all but given up hope but...

I'm with Startyde; these guys are rubbish. I don't know if there's anything I can do to help but let me know if there's anything you need.

Re: Gallery for offers - SM, Jem, Yohko, Fruits Basket, + more

I don't have a FB account that I can check the cel group there so hopefully the prices get posted here too at some point as I'm intrigued by more than a few of the cels I see on the RS gallery.

Re: Best Scanners for Scanning Cels?

Oh wow. Thank you very much; that's great news! I kinda wonder if the reviewer's scanner just had the lid pins installed backwards. This moves the Epson back to the top of the consideration list. Thank you so much for the detailed response.

Re: Best Scanners for Scanning Cels?

I use an Epson Expression 10000XL Wide-Format Scanner. Got it for around $500 used on eBay with free shipping, new it was around $2000. There have been updated models since then, but if you can score one of the large format Epson scanners you will be very happy. They are bulky, but I love the way E...

I'm probably missing something obvious but I can't see any amounts. Is it maybe a non-public field?

Re: Good places to sell old anime collectibles other than ebay?

Figure guy here. For your figures, go to MyFigureCollection.net if you haven't been there; there's an in-built P2P selling feature though I think there's a max concurrent listing cap unless you're a subscriber). Figure.fm and Reddit.com/rAnimeFigures/ are lesser traffic, but also free, alternatives....

Re: Off Rubberslug Cel Site Directory Project

I think my experiment with SmugMug has gone well enough to call it a success so I'm putting my gallery there, such as it is. It's not nearly as nice as many that I've seen in either quality or quantity but, on the chance that it would be worthy of adding to the directory, here it is: https://plastiq...

By all means, resting up and healing are a priority over all things. It's great to hear that you're recovering well.
