ISO Golden Boy background of the animation studio from episode 6

Hi everyone! I am looking for a collector interested in selling any Golden Boy background of the animation studio from the 6th episode, or any GB set with an animation studio BG. I was on a quiet lookout for one to go on sale for a few years, but now that I can keep up with Golden Boy's production a...

Re: Stuff you haven't seen for sale

^ Oh yes, I remember this cel now. I let a friend who was a Saturn collector know about it and then promptly forgot about the cel. I tend to do that when I notify friends about things they might be interested in - No point in pining for it when you have a friend that would appreciate it more. It is...

Re: Bill submitted in Japan to stop sale and export of Anime art

I didn't know animators in Japan were poorly paid. I'm not so sure a law would fix things, though. The credits of certain more recent anime suggest outsourcing of large chunks of the work to Korea, or possibly even China! Here I thought only American studios did that. You could define animators is ...

Re: Bill submitted in Japan to stop sale and export of Anime art

I think a lot of the drive for this bill is nationalism. And like some nationalism, it's entirely misdirected towards symbols rather than people. They should be putting a law together for animators of the present to afford a living wage. It's embarrassing to hear that the country that produces the m...

Re: Ouran High School Host Club

http://www.anime-beta.com/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=23 I noticed some people here within the last few months putting their galleries up for sale, and some users had Ouran production sketches. Try contacting them, preferably through an email address they list, as rubberslug galleries seem to have an iss...

Re: Any young collectors nowadays, or are we all seasoned?

I am at your cut-off (25). I briefly got interested in production art 11 years ago when I found out what cels were. I remember browsing eBay for Sailor Moon merchandise and wondering why some pictures were so expensive! I ended up buying some Hotaru sketches for like $20 or so. (I'll need to fish th...

Hi Kim! Now that I think about it, I don't remember receiving replies from the few people I asked questions to on their feedback form since the site went up. If there is an issue with the feedback form, great catch!

Re: YJP Counterfeit Sellers

I saw a post (I think here, but searches don't show up.) about someone being able to notice a Cardcaptor Sakura movie cel up for auction on Mandarake that looked to be from the exact same frame from a cel in their collection, and they were able figure out which one was the retake and which one was t...
