What are good ways to clean cells from dust?

I have a couple of cels where they are two cels stuck together. However, I can still peel off the area outside of the stuck image. The thing is, in that area there are many accumulation of what seems to be dust and small particles in between. I have tried to wipe them off with soft cloth from all 4 ...

Re: Microchamber paper substitutes?

That is so nice. I ordered it :D If you don’t mind, a photo would be great. I’m not sure if I’m imagining it right/wrong. Using the vertical book the cel vents through the side, and the top of the landscape book does have more length, so it means a few more CMs of ventilation. I think most people st...

Re: Microchamber paper substitutes?

I think I could imagine what you meant, Matt :^^: I have been eying the Itoya folder too. It’s the 11” x 14” one. Which one of these should I get? https://www.amazon.com/Itoya-Profolio-Inch-Presentation-Portfolio-x/dp/B00ED3SUA2/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1544779983&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY...

Microchamber paper substitutes?

I was wondering if there’s another way to absorb the acid from the cels other than using them. Microchamber papers are impossible to obtain where I live, sadly. I looked up bagsunlimited but it costs a bit too much (plus shipping) and they don’t have smaller packs (the pessimist side of me thinks I ...

Re: Ikuko Itoh's shuusei?

Following up - I received the genga set. Unfortunately there are some partials and there's no signs that would clinch it for sure they're Ikuko Itoh's drawing. They're beautiful though, and I'm still staring at them often :D The Uranus sketches are gorgeous. However, she regularly supervised the epi...

Re: Sailor moon. Help to ID cel

Yep, I'd say it's from a Super S episode. To be honest that season isn't my favorite so I'm not very familiar with it, but I can't recall if Helios appears in the Super S movie. That shot looks like a scene when Helios is showing up in front of Chibiusa.

Re: Hello!

Thank you, guys! :D You know how to make a gal feel at home! "If you love what you own more than what you'd like to own" - that is such a great quote, sensei. Welcome! There have been lots of nice Sailor Moon cels on Yahoo!Japan auctions recently, which is somewhat exciting. The prices, th...

Re: Ikuko Itoh's shuusei?

Sensei - Ah, that must have been such a wonderful feeling when you found out that the sketches you've had for so long created by Itoh-sensei!! I can't imagine how I'd feel if that happened to me. Gobsmacked, very likely :bounce I'm excited for you even though it's happened a while back, lol. I know ...

Re: Ikuko Itoh's shuusei?

Ah thank you so much, sensei and jiangdc!! :bounce I really appreciate that you dug them up for me - sorry for being a pain. Sensei - I think it was from one of your posts that I learned about the T⅔ signature. Congrats for the new acquisition from Mandarake! Too bad there aren’t that many Sailor Mo...

Re: Ikuko Itoh's shuusei?

The yellow sheet might actually be a "practice" sheet rather than a shuusei . They generally don't have production numbers on them. You can tell that the yellow sheet looks more like a rough sketch (not completely clean or complete lines) than a shuusei , which would have complete line st...

Re: Ikuko Itoh's shuusei?

Uhhh jiangdc, you have made me really excited that it is really likely hers! X| I went to check the episode again, and interestingly the eyes on the show look like a hybrid between the genga and the correction. So perhaps you were right and there was a finalized version. The other elements are the s...

Re: Ikuko Itoh's shuusei?

I see. I assumed correction sheets would normally have numbers on them cos I saw many yellow sheets with corresponding numbers like in the genga, e.g. A1, A2 and circled. Or is that a different type of correction sheet? I guess it is pretty hard to know for sure who drew this one, but since usually ...
