Storing Cels flat vs binder?
I only have like 5 cels but I want to keep these in pristine condition. Since airing them out is important I decided to buy a shelving unit where it is open in the front and I can lay each cel by themselves. I put them in a cel bag open on 3-sides with the paint side facing up. I also put some micro...

Re: Mandarake Correction Compilation?
I have noticed on the "Big Web Auctions" they do specify if items are copies or not. But for "everyday auctions" they leave it very vague. I am sure there are bidders outside of Japan thinking these are real. Also they probably have run into these issues more than once so they re...

Re: Mandarake Correction Compilation?
Thank you for the write up. I am new to the hobby and recently started looking at Mandarake to buy things. Like this Madoka one went for $5000 recently: https://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/auction/item/itemInfoEn.html?index=63...

Cel stuck to background, anyone remove successfully?
Does the misting / leaving it by a open window work for a cel stuck to a background? Got a cel stuck to a non-matching background so I do not care if the background gets destroyed. There are many threads about removing sketches successfully but haven't seen any for backgrounds. The paper is thicker ...

Storing Cels Vertically, do they curl?
I am new to Cel collecting and the consensus seems to be: Store cels vertically in Itoya portfolios in poly bags (1 side open) and microchamber paper. Do Cels curl when they are stored for a long time? Since they are stored vertically, they are not perfectly straight and somewhat flexible. Should I ...
