Re: Majority of cels up for sale (primarily YYH)
All PMs have been answered and all purchases sent out (thanks for all of the friendly chats and wonderfully easy transactions, everyone!), but there are still lots of lovelies available. I'll probably start some listings on evilBay soon, so if you're at all interested, now is the time to inquire - I...

Majority of cels up for sale (primarily YYH)
Hi, all! It has been several years since I made any cel purchases, and my RS gallery is languishing. The items I've gotten around to posting there are mostly from Yu Yu Hakusho - although there are a few others - and while I will never part with some, I figure it's about time to pass the torch on th...

Re: How Much Are You Hiding In Your Gallery?
The only things that are hidden in my gallery are pieces that I've sold, and two that the sellers stipulated could not be publicly exhibited. But...I have hundreds of cels and sketches that I've simply never gotten around to scanning, so yeah...I just pat myself on the back for displaying as much as...

Re: removing stuck paper from a cel
I super happy it worked for you, I have had only one cel it did not work on, so I left the drawing alone. it was a cel covered in a red paint that was like glue, I think the drawing was placed on it while the paint was still wet or not fully dry; This sometimes happens to last minute changes or dela...
Re: Digger
It is the only imperfect thing about dogs...they leave us far too soon. As anyone who's ever loved one of these wonderful creatures knows, they are family - and family is the hardest loss to bear. I'm truly sorry for what you're going through.

Re: Do you think you will ever tire of your collection?
I can say without a doubt that I go through periods where I tire of collecting . I think it's probably because I miss the old days when every morning spent looking around YHJ and the cel dealers' sites brought a treasure trove of amazing new stuff to choose from...and now I feel like I have to wait ...

Re: Quick question regarding microchamber paper
Okay, then, here's another noob-to-microchamber-paper question: Why doesn't a smaller piece mean less protection? I'd have thought that it would 'fill up', so to speak, and lose its ability to neutralize any further. And if it's absorbing moisture, too, then why isn't it getting moist and doing dama...

Re: Sailor Moon collectors...
I've always assumed that most - if not all - of the items in the BWA are privately owned pieces, auctioned on percentage commission + buyer's premium by Mandarake, as you'd find at any major auction house. If that's true, it would explain the occasionally confusing prices (e.g overpriced SM cards vs...

Re: Midori
Just thought I'd hijack this old topic to let people know that if they haven't visited Midori's site since AX, she is currently having a 25% off sale on all paper and a bit of plastic. If you've been eyeballing anything (as I was, *sigh*), now is a great time to pick it up.

Re: Quick question regarding microchamber paper
LOL, I'm not sure on that, I've always put the microchamber in the bags. What's interesting, is I am in the middle of my first rebag since starting with microchamber paper, and I am noticing I don't have to change every single bag like in the past where it was, all bags must go! They would get all ...

Quick question regarding microchamber paper
With a fair measure of the usual I'd-rather-have-a-root-canal factor, I'm about to embark on the dreaded rebag-all-cels mission. I don't collect much that's pre-1990, and even though I've never used microchamber paper, I've yet to see any signs of chemical change besides a few fading trace lines. Wh...
