Re: 1st Update in a year (added 1 more Hanken)
First post in years, and I had to make it about this. Great update.

Re: What else do you collect besides animation artwork?
Like many have said here, I've always been a collector. I've got a collection of baseball cards and memorabilia surrounding my favorite player, Roger Clemens. About 5000 pieces. My favorite is a ball I got signed by him in 1988. Missed half a day of school for that one. http://artappreciation101.rub...

Re: Rubberslug Issues
Sounds like you have great ideas. Once again, make them a reality. Don't ask someone to hand you over their hard work because you don't like how their FREE website is being run. Create your own forum/gallery from scratch. That is innovation. It's at least more productive than starting a complaint th...

Re: Rubberslug Issues
Solution: You don't like how RS is being run, create a better site and run it. Don't simply demand money you frankly don't deserve and then ask to piggyback off of someone else's hard work and knowhow.

Another year, another update
I'm not dead, if anyone was wondering. While my cel buying days are not completely behind me, I'm limiting my purchases to dream cels only. Lately, I've been doing comic conventions. My go to cons are Emerald a City in Seattle and Amazing Con here in Vegas. I'm also attending Dallas Fan Expo in May ...

Thanks! I got that space piece at a charity auction. The Pinky and The Brain was fun. Great to meet those guys.

No cels, but an update.
The search continues for a worthy cel. Still, no luck. I have, however, found a few sketches and prints. Non-anime. If you are a fan of Pooh, Futurama, Pinky and the Brain, Powers, etc., check it out.

Re: how do you feel about Autograph Prices at cons?
Don't really care. If you are going to a con, prepare to spend money. As for Tara Strong, I went to Emerald City con laast year, and she (along with Kevin Conroy, Maurice Lemarche, Rob Paulson, Billy West, and Jon DiMaggio) signed for free, and took pictures.

Re: Sakura Con vs Emerald City Comic Con?
I'm going to Emerald City Con, just because it looks like a fun time. I did notice some animation dealers there. Don't know how much anime they'll have. I just want to meet Summer Glau

Re: Steve Jobs RIP
Like all great innovators (Ford, Hershey, Eddison, Guttenberg, etc.), he took what others had done and listened to the customers about how it could be made better. He took computers in a new direction by making them portable and affordable. He took digital music in a new directon with the iPod and i...

Where did we all go?
I know I wasn't the most beloved person on AB, but I have been here since the start...before even. Every so often, I check back in to see how everyone is doing. I keep seeing all my former cel friends leaving the hobby disillusioned. I never left the hobby, there just weren't any cels around that I ...
