I read the list and was pretty disappointed. I do appreciate the high ranking of Pinnochio and Dumbo, but considering those inclusions I was really surprised by Bambi's absence. Nothing by Yuri Norstein either. Anime-wise, it was ridiculous. No Totoro? No Nausicaa? Nothing by Takahata? Not to mentio...

I've been hunting around for cels, particularly cels with backgrounds, from the old show Tokimeki Tonight. So far I saw one cel on Madoka Japan, but not quite what I'm looking for.

It doesn't seem that anyone on Rubberslug has one either.
Has anyone seen any around?

Yeah, Akira is really great.

You might try some Masamune Shirow stuff, like Appleseed. Not as good as Akira but still pretty great.
