A lot of them looked pretty good considering they were apparent copies. All of these had descriptions like that: Are the pages of any of those auctions still up? Pictures like those show it's impossible to say 100% (from the pictures alone) until you receive the item. Picture quality aside, it does...

Actually, never mind. Apparently, someone contacted ebay and said that I was selling bootleg goods (what?) and my account has been suspended until they find out what's going on. Funny how they suspend you immediately, and bootleg sellers of DVDs and PVC figures who have been reported multiple times...

The funny thing is sometimes the opposite is true. I'll post this here because I got it so long ago. Here's an example of something looking like a copy when they're original. The sheet in the top right corner is a hand sketch, but in the photo it looks like a copy: http://i667.photobucket.com/album...

Were you guys mainly talking about white paper with colors on them that didn't have the holes punched out? For the Mushishi, yes. You can see the registration holes from the original printed on, but there are no holes punched through. I'm fairly sure that none of the copies had actual registration ...

Not sure I want to nominate much this time, since I'm not consistently around, but I recently got lent one of this little dude's SNES games. It was pretty fun, and now I'm tempted to buy one of his plushies.
I nominate
1. Kirby from the Kirby games
I second
2. Mog from Final Fantasy VI

In another note, finally updated the pic of the cels. Don't worry they're still in their bags and I was extra careful! http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e9/Midnitetheanimefreak/cel.jpg Cool, thanks for sharing your pictures (and your cat). I hope the cels have been delivered safely by now. For a to...

I definitely vote fancel. The scarf fur is really the biggest clue. Check out Michiru's neck as well... It's shadowed in the auction cel, but not in the screenshot. From what you said about the scene, I agree that there probably should be separate layers. It's hard to say for sure, but the auction l...
It's probably like what I do to make sure the details and colors in my sketch scans show up. I scan my images in darker than they actually are (lower gamma setting). I prefer the inaccurate brightness to lighter lines and certain colors being washed out. Even though it's not always so (genga and rou...

I don't think I've collected enough of any one series or theme to set my collection apart. At one time, I might have said the ratio of sketches > cels, but quite a lot of people collect sketches these days. Only that its mine, and I love it. If my puddle shaped thumbnails count as part of what sets ...

That's really weird. To 90077, it is $79.90, which is the 44 pound Priority mail price. It's also showing the 44 pound rate to Houston 77058. However, the price to New York 10001 and Chicago 60601 comes up $22.00 on the auction page, but that's the price of mailing a 20 pound package. I used 28052 f...
