I've loved Photography since I was a little girl. I've owned quite a few cameras. At 6 years old I was given a Polaroid Insta-matic. The film was quite pricey and I gave away most of the pictures *^.^*. When I was 9 years old, I received a Vivitar 110 as a Christmas present. For the next several yea...

I agree with everyone else, report him. Who knows maybe he is just some creepy stalker dude with a sick sense of humor. There is always the chance though that he may be some predator looking for someone responsive to hook up with. If your report just makes it so that mods keep a closer eye on him, t...

One of the "key" principles I'm developing in my study is restitution: as anime art is unique, the owner of any given piece assumes a lot of karma, which needs to be worked off in some way that benefits other collectors. In the original Levi-Straussian formulation, primitive tribes make r...

Hehh. I was just coming on here to post about it. What did you think of his supplemental piece? I like the fact that he associated the artwork that he had and played the corresponding animation. It helps bring it all together for people. Its also nice to see his passion coming through. The only thin...

Well actually, you could do that with a close-up filter set or with a macro lens. They have some fairly nice Canon dslrs out and the ef lens mount has been around for a very long time. http://photography.timtrott.co.uk/closeup-filter-vs-macro-lens/ You can pick up a used Canon Rebel XT for around $3...

Animation art collecting for me is like...

Going out with a fresh roll of film in my camera

(or an empty memory card and fresh battery in this day and age lol)

Basically open to unlimited possibilities and you never know what you'll be able to capture on film.

I suppose you can say it is a dying art form and in a way, I am trying to preserve a little part of it for myself and future generations. Granted there are parts of my collection that will probably only ever appeal to me, and that is fine. After all, these pieces were collected from series that I en...

Scanner wise, I've always had my best luck with ones that are able to scan negatives as well.I've never had any issues (related to color) with either of the two Canon scanners I've owned -they have both always done well on pinks and reds. If you ever consider purchasing a new scanner, it might be be...

Pretty!

Your Kouga is rather funny though. I do not know if that position is humanly possible w/o falling flat on the person/demon's butt within seconds :)

It's a toss up for me between friendly and being honest. One can always gain knowledge through applying themselves and spending time gaining it.
However it's sort of hard for a person to change their individual personality.
