Re: Still remembering...

I had just returned from a business trip the Friday before. I ate at a Chili's restaurant at the airport that had large serrated steak knives, right next to the gate. On the morning of September 11, I was making breakfast for my family and turned on the TV. The local news had switched to national co...

I enjoyed looking at everyone's photos, very nice! :) I became interested in photography a few years ago. My first decent digital camera was a Sony DSC-F707. When it died, I went with a Nikon D90 and Nikkor 18-200mm lens. It is an amazing camera, but I know only a fraction of what it can truly do. H...

Like Sensei, this was my first time participating in a BWA. I put in a reasonable bid before bedtime on this Yu Yu Hakusho bad boy http://redeye.rubberslug.com/gallery/inv_info.asp?ItemID=319041 knowing full well I had very little chance of winning. In the morning I was totally surprised I had won t...

Nicker Poster Colour from the Nicker Colour Co (gouache, just like Shampoo said), colored pencils and ink.

Gouache that contains chalk as its white pigment (for opacity) will give the background a chalky finish.
