Question on placing bids

I was wondering something about placing bids on Mandarake auctions since I went through this earlier this week. Just to use some random numbers for example: Say an item is currently at 5000 yen. It says bid increments are 500 yen. I want to bid high and am willing to go up to 20000 yen. So I try and...

Were you ever able to get a hold of her? I would LOVE to get in touch with her myself.

Re: Private Messages in Outbox

I am pretty sure that messages in the outbox remain there until the recipient reads them. They are sent, just unread.

Re: New website for us to host galleries on

The only FB group I'm in is the Anime Beta & RS one. I'm tired of FB too. If it wasn't a good source to network for my line of work and to learn from, I wouldn't even be on there. I'm not a social media fan. I just want there to be a site very similar to RS that is updated and reliable. Lol. I ...

Re: New website for us to host galleries on

I told my cousin to not bother looking into it since there hasn't been any real interest at all. Aside from a couple of people who said in chat that they would be willing to pay to chip in for a new site. I am not interested in bothering with making my own site again, and I do like the input boxes f...

New website for us to host galleries on

I am wondering if there is any interest in getting a new website made where we can host galleries for our cels. With RS constantly crashing, and worrying it will one day go down for good or something. I do have a relative that has the skills to create something like that for us but obviously he won’...

Re: Getting Rid of all Plastic/Poly bags for Cels?

the way I store my cels are free hanging with no pressure applied to any of the sides I'm curious how you're hanging them. Do you have a picture to show? Lately I've been trying to think if there is something else I can do besides storing my cels in the multiring binders. Then I found myself awake ...

Re: A word of caution when using Mylar/polyester bags to store sketches

As I think most of us are aware, Mylar (polyester) bags are not recommended for cel storage. Despite their many advantages over polypropylene and polyethylene bags, their big downside is that cel paint will easily stick to Mylar. However, it is often recommended to use Mylar for sketch storage. The...

Re: Humidity and storing cels

Thanks for letting me know. It's much less humid here in the summer and now that winter is coming, it's getting to be more humid. Seems like it's been in the 40-70% humidity range outside according to my weather app. So I should be ok for roughly half the year. But perhaps it is best to get one of t...

Humidity and storing cels

What is generally the ideal humidity level for cels and is it true that if the humidity is too low, it can dry the cels out and make the paint crack? I could have sworn I read that in a post when I was reviewing the various cel care posts a little while ago but can't find it again. I'm always worryi...

Re: Zenmarket issues/good deputy that ships fast?

Fortunately I got the box in question a week ago. It took two weeks for it to get packed and send me the invoice to pay to have it shipped here. There's a notice on the website saying there is a significant delay in everything with them now due to the Emergency Protocol/unusual high amount of orders...

Re: Zenmarket issues/good deputy that ships fast?

Actually I just heard back..."Thank you for the inquiry. Unfortunately, we are still experiencing delays with warehouse operation and packing process could take around 2 weeks. When the items are added to a new parcel and waiting for packing, we don't charge the storage fee. A storage days calc...
