Re: Something fun
You have quite a few I've admired before, but I also really like your new win off Mandarake: http://justvan.rubberslug.com/gallery/inv_info.asp?ItemID=390061 Very interesting that it was from a Christmas special! It seems like it must be a rare find. I also like the background you paired with it. 8)

Re: To watermark or not to watermark, that is the question..
It's a good point--watermarks are not that useful. It's a bit of a false sense of security, and I confess I am tempted to redo my scans and remove them. In the early days, watermarking was the norm, and before I started I'd already had some swiped scans from my tripod site show up on eBay. X| But re...

Re: Bringing Cel Collecting into the 21st Century and etc.
Wow, that was a heck of a thread. I always forget about the RS board so I'm a bit late to the game. I don't know code, but I'm a quick learner and will be happy to help, including funding! Also Jadeduo, do you need help with the awards? I wasn't planning on participating but I'll do what I can. PM m...

Re: Animation Director Sailor Moon Season 1 - OP2
Hey Jadeduo, I'm sorry because I looked, too...but like you, struck out. There seem to be some holes in the knowledge base of the online lexicons...I am still trying to figure out who did inner senshi transformations (first season). Hisashi Kagawa did Jupiter's, and I think I found Sailormoon's, but...

Re: Something fun
I was trying to pick a favorite from JD's gallery and I couldn't, so you beat me to it! (And I wasn't even just focusing on the Sailormoon corridors...I agree, the art from Loveless is amazing.) Of course, yours is just as ridiculously hard. There are so many...but this one I keep coming back to: ht...

Re: Yahoo SM auctions?
I'm glad he won, then!! I'm totally on board with helping him recoup some of the loss, if he puts the Mars cels up for auction! I wonder who got the ESM lot last night? That was a pretty good deal, considering how many really nice ones were in there, but I never threw in a bid (I was holding ...

Re: Is anyone else having issues with Rubberslug?
I was attempting some site maintenance, but it doesn't look like Rubberslug will upload anything at the moment. The last RS gallery update was 9 hours ago, so I'm assuming it might be down again...anyone else having trouble?
Never mind--it's back up! Thanks!

Re: Yahoo SM auctions?
Thanks guys--that makes sense, I've just never seen a ruler like that!
I know, there are some great pieces in there, but I loathe these big all-or-nothing lots. I honestly don't even want to see where the final bids end up!

Ok, what is this? The ruler is confusing me. Is this a miniature or a production cel? It has registration holes from what I can tell, but...

Re: MajinTangerine Vegeta Cel new background
Ha, you did say that earlier--apparently I was out to lunch! (I had a laparoscopy on Thursday, and apparently my postop pain regimen has turned me into an airhead.) I wish more backgrounds from the series I collect would make it to market. I never understood why they are so hard to find. Perhaps Toe...

Re: Cels for Sale
What a completely gorgeous site design, with absolutely stunning cels! I don't collect many of those series so I'm not your target audience on the sale, but I definitely enjoyed checking them out. Those Weiss Kreuz cels are gorgeous. Good luck!

Re: Poll - How Many Series Have You Seen?
Wow, you guys are so well-versed! I rarely have time to watch much of anything, so I've not been adding to my count. At this point, I think it includes Last Unicorn, Mononoke Hime, Rayearth, Cowboy Bebop, Tenshi ni Narumon, Utena, and Sailor Moon. There are quite a few more I want to watch...but fin...

Re: The Choices, the Choices
Interesting question! I have only seen a very few series, and collect from even fewer. For me, it's about a connection to the characters and story line, with a secondary reason being the beauty of the artwork. I will probably never have a Rayearth collection the size of Sailor Moon, because I wasn't...
