Re: BWA January 2014
I was curious about that too... being a Stevie fanGoldknight wrote:So I have a question. How come the storyboards for Rose of Versailles feature Stevie Nicks & The Pretenders on the front of them??? I'm not familiar with this anime at all mind you, but that definitely caught my attention.

Re: 2013 Year in Review & 2014 Cel/Sketch Resolutions
1. What was the best thing that's happened to your gallery/collection in 2013? It expanded quite a bit, there was hardly a series I collect from that I didn't acquire a new piece for. I also worked a little on expanding details on my genga sets and cels, and I put together more animations. Although...

Re: RePete's Legendary Gallery - UPDATES - The Secret of Man
OMERGERD WOLF'S RAIN! Managed to get my hands on some beautiful piece's. Check them out in my gallery. In the coming weeks there will be bucket loads of pieces added. When I saw this film I was beyond impressed by the amount of detail. I really love the shot of D and his horse here. Fantastic!

This is really helpful and I've always been baffled why I get redirected with some rubberslug forum posts. Anyway to get around it?

Re: Global Shipping on ebay....?
Of course it's all variable, but after reading a lot more into this, the majority will vouch this service is far more costly for them, hence boycotting against sellers using it. For some reason buyers are still charged import taxes on items below the threshold too, even Australians who do not have i...

Re: Global Shipping on ebay....?
I'm aware how expensive it is to ship internationally, adding additional fees with Ebay's service doesn't help the issue. The problem is, anyone can ship internationally themselves. I've been shipping parcels to numerous places overseas since 2004, it takes about 2 minutes to fill out a customs form...

Re: Global Shipping on ebay....?
I've read discussions on this on another collector community (not cels) where the items in question may have some more weight on the issue. However, buyers there would not buy from sellers using this service as it was a money grab from Ebay. The additional shipping cost was simply far too much for n...

Re: Global Shipping on ebay....?
Could someone please explain to me the purpose of this service besides eBay cashing in on their own shipping business?
I've heard some bad things about this, but I just can't seem to get the point to begin with. Isn't it cheaper and more flexible to just ship personally?

Re: Raising the bid to a tie and then stop bidding.
I also tend to enter a high max bid in at first, and was getting stuck with these types of bidders. While it might not help stop deliberate shill bidding, it was suggested to me in a previous topic to have two deputy services at hand in case of drawn out auctions. I used this method recently to bump...
