Hey everyone.
As most of the cel related world, and my freinds otherwise
know, we're moving! It's a 3-bedroom apartment, great location
and cheaper than where we are now, only catch, NO DISHWASHER.
And belive me, it's a BIG deal for us. Our kids are fussy about using
cups or bowls twice, even if it's for the SAME DAMN THI-- *ahem* Sorry
about that.
Anyway, I'm trying to find an affordable portable dishwasher, and I was stumped to find anything in our price range nearby. eBay has tons, but they are all local pickup, and all the sellers are too far away.
BUT!

I was high bidder at $10.00, and I'm going to let it wait until the last half hour. (Yes, I'm sniping. I'm desperate!) The shipping to our zipcode would be $21.50, and they ask for $15.00 handling fee. So if it goes over $20.00 I have to pull out.
It has little less than 2 days, and I have no idea if my computer will be down, but wish me luck!
Course, if you happen to have /know someone who has a portable dishwasher of any size, and live in driving distance.... =D <3
Whee! More tribulations of moving!

If you can afford a regular dishwasher, I would highly recommend getting it
instead of a portable unit. The kind pictured in that auction, plus the wheel
about types, both tend to receive very low consumer reviews. They don't
work very well and are prone to break easily. I've heard some unusual
horror stories about them being fire hazards as well. I did a lot of research
into them when we moved into our new house. The upstairs kitchen is on the
small side so space was a major issue for us. The smallest standard unit you
can buy is 18 inches wide. We have a GE Spacemaker and it's just wonderful.
Also, I've found that dry detergent works better than liquid.
