For some reason I got a payment today through ebay via paypal that went to a non existing e-mail (or rather an e-mail that I don't have anymore since we moved in May).
I changed everything on ebay in May/June of this year and havent' had any problems since till today.
Somebody paid me at a non existing paypal addy and I can't recover that payment since that e-mail isn't existing at all and isn't attached to anything of mine anymore.
Anybody knows what I might of missed changing on ebay? I checked and looked everywhere and nothing at all that mentiones my old e-mail.
If anybody knows where I might didn't look please help me out.

I wouldfirst attempt to log into Paypal and see if you can bring up the transaction in your current paypal account. If not then attempt to access the paypal using the old email address at log in. Unless you changed and can't remember your password for that account you should still be able to have the funds in there sent to your bank account or request a check sent to you.
The worst case is you need to email the person who made the payment and have them cancel it and resend it to the new paypal account.

I already checked in paypal and nothing was there. You mean add that old e-mail addy? but the e-mail that I usually get is somewhere now scattered in Missouri where I don't live anymore and taht e-mail has been deleted long ago.JWR wrote:I wouldfirst attempt to log into Paypal and see if you can bring up the transaction in your current paypal account. I contacted the person and think I know who it is on RS so I contacted the person there via feedback and hopefully they get back to me and can cancell and resend to the right account.

Hm... did you change the email address to your correct one when you listed the item? You know, in the payment details section of the listing where you put in your Paypal email address if you select to take Paypal payments. Once you change this in one listing though, it should be the same for any future listings. That's the only thing I can think of if you've already updated your Ebay profile with your new email address.
