I usually have "All sales are final!" in my auctions. Sometimes I forget to put it there but ebay saves me by saying "Return policy not specified.
Read item description for any reference to return policy." If you have no reference, odds are you have no policy for returns ie no returns. That's the way I see it and I'm sure ebay will too. Come on! It sounds like your buyer copied them and now wants to return them so she did it for "free".
Can you hear this fangirl squee?!

I'm not convinced she has copied them to be honest. Why go through the hassle of eBay to copy a DVD, not only will you get negative feedback and have to pay for postage there and back (which is usually not refundable if a refund is offered). If you wanted to just copy a DVD and return/exchange it you may as well just do it in store...ALOT cheaper and easier AND they can offer refunds/exchanges.

I hope it all works out for you.

Well you see Ronin they were Out of print uncut sailor moon dvds. No one holds the license to distribute Sailor Moon in the USA anymore so they can be expensive to buy. She paid $300 which included shipping so that is why I do not doubt it.

I told her no refund last week, I still have not heard a peep from her. I think im going to stop worring now... @_@

Ahhh. You know, around the time you listed your first and second season boxes, this other seller listed theirs at around $27 each. I've had them forever and a day, so I didn't buy them -besides, I can always make copies of mine now for my daughters. Maybe this person had someone buy them one of those sets so they felt silly paying $300 for yours. Granted though, Each one of those fetches at least $100 -$120 easily when sold there. So, $300 wasn't that far off for a sure thing.

Also, stores will not accept exchanges or returns of opened DVDs. You can only exchange it for the same one. And then, even if you exchange that one at another place without a reciept, if its at the same chain, they already have your Driver's license on file.

Best to just go the Netflix route and rent them.

You wouldn't believe some of the things I've been told that people have gotten away at with exchanging at Wally World. A really good friend of mine worked returns there a few years ago now, and he'd mention some of the stuff occasionally... plus, the returns section was close to the photolab in the store.....
*cough cough* Ehem. So... yeah.... returns.

I used to work at walmart. I did hte cashier thing for less than a year and then pharmacy the rest. When i was a cashier though we had some pretty sick things returned. For example, a guy who bought ground hamburger, cooked it, and then made a burger out of it.. ate about half and then brough the package with the burger and said he wanted a return. Ass. lol
