Question about an eBay seller

Post by Keropi »

I was going through eBay tonight when I ran across a number of cels that came from adult anime. Some of these cels look familiar, but I wasn't able to place them:

Is this seller actually a shop in Japan? ?^_^?

It says in the listing:

"We will ship from Japan"

Anybody know?

Yes this seller does live in and ship from Japan. I have ordered from them in the past.

This seller used to operate Anime i-land (seems the site is down). I've won auctions in the past from them and now order from them privately. Their customer service is ok (takes a few days for them to get back in contact with you). Shipping time is ok as well, but most things I've ordered takes about 2 weeks to arrive to me, occasionally 3 weeks. However overall I'm pretty satisfied with the service. :)

He used to run Anime i-land as Sugar mentioned, it had been quite awhile since i-land had been updated and as mentioned seems to be down now. I can honestly say that in all my years of buying from him I literally do not have one complaint. I find him to be an absolutely wonderful seller, friendly, honest and reliable each and every time, which in my case seems to be about once every month.

I've had good luck ordering from him. I paid for EMS shipping, and after 2 weeks asked for a status via eBay that went unanswered, but a week later it arrived via EMS. I guess I paid for 2-3 day shipping after the 2-3 week wait for processing! I was very happy with the quality and condition of the cel, not so thrilled I paid the extra for shipping!

Thanks for the information everyone!

It's nice to know who he is and that he's still around. Those cels were giving me a "familiarity feeling", but I couldn't tell how or why. :)
