PayPal mandatory, says eBay Australia

Post by metheus »

Saw this on slashdot....
ONLINE auction website eBay is using Australia as a guinea pig to trial a new policy where all other modes of payment are barred except its own transaction gateway, PayPal.

So I guess ebay can find even more new ways to make auctions worse.

Something's got be done about those guys. Either its management needs to be replaced or a better alternative has replace them.

It would be fun watching eBay squirm like politicians who force their stupid pet project legislation through only to realize that they underestimated the backlash against what they did.

I reiterate one more time... the only solution to the problem is to NOT USE EBAY. If people just stop using Ebay and point out the policies they disagree with, then Ebay will have to change or lose business. Complaining here does absolutely zip, nada, ziltch, rien, so long as you're still using their service.

Until they LOSE BUSINESS, they will keep doing whatever they want.
