Unable to sign into ebay account using firefox

Post by transmet »

As of today neither one of my computer's (PC or Mac) will sign into my ebay account through firefox.
Anyone else having similar issues? It's very frustrating. :redhot

Note: IE7 and Safari both work fine - just hate using them.

I'm doing alright with Ebay. But I'm using FireFox v. 2. I tried the latest and I -hated- it. =\ perhaps another glitch in the latest version?

I think they even have a special firefox for ebay users... i had it on my last comp before it died. I could see my watch list on the side.. it was very nice. LOL

You referring to an eBay plugin or a toolbar for FF? I don't think FF has special versions of their program for anyone ;)

Note: my Firefox is fine with logging into eBay (v3.0.1). Perhaps try an uninstall/re-install? Or perhaps its a plugin or extension that you're using?

It turned out it was due to the yesterday's update for the NoScript plug-in. I had a sneaking suspicion that this was the culprit, but I thought I wouldn't mention it right off. They came out with a new fix today admitting that yesterday's update was apparently causing problems with accepting cookies from certain pages such as ebay.

So, alls well that ends well (except now I can't access my SMJ account ).

Thanx anyway - appreciate the responses. 8)
