Funny how this person couldn't be bothered to respond to emails and yet was so quick to leave negative feedback.
Your best bet would probably be to not respond in kind. It would just make you look bad. Collect all the evidence you can find and your emails and forward it to eBay's abuse department (or what ever area they have set up to handle that). Anyone that behaves that suspiciously and with that sort of childish retaliation should be banned.
You've got 90 days to leave bad feedback in return so you have time to see if eBay can/will do anything about this.

O_o Dang. He's bid on one of my auctions and I was debating as to whether to keep it there or not. Guess I should consider blocking him. That's total $%&. Please let us know how it plays out after reporting it Pudge! I'm so torn. I'm quite trusting and naive that way having faith in someone I don't know, but so far......so if I block him then can he still leave feedback? Did you just let the auctions close Pudge with him winning? How did he leave feedback when you blocked him? I must have missed something?
***EDIT***
You don't think this person is targeting sellers with 100% rating or close do you? I think just about every one of the auctions they are bidding on the seller is 100%

I believe that he could only leave feedback if he won the auction, so if youGoldknight wrote:so if I block him then can he still leave feedback? Did you just let the auctions close Pudge with him winning? How did he leave feedback when you blocked him? I must have missed something?
cancel his bid and block him, he's not the winner and can't leave feedback.
In Pudge's case, the auctions ended with him winning, so the goober could
leave feedback as he won the auction and you can't block him on stuff that
he's already won, obviously.

Ok, I'm confused... I'm not seeing any negatives at all on Pudge's account (even after doing everything possible to make sure I'm not just looking at a cached copy...)
Did eBay actually come through?

drat... I see what happened, I was looking at a very similar username, not "our" Pudge.
That really stinks. I'm so tempted to write to this person and say "the cel world already knows about you, moron, and we're 100% behind Pudge..." but somehow I suspect it wouldn't accomplish anything
What tells the tale, of course, is the ONE ebayer who left negative feedback compared with the thousand + who left glowing reviews. AND the fact that this one person is awash in icons that say "username changed!!" and shrieks in all caps...
*hug* Pudge

Did he leave negative feedback right after the end of the auction or after you relisted? Did he get an invoice and then flip out?

Pudge,
I honestly would not worry about the negative feedback that he gave you. Any informed eBay buyer who sees that will understand that it is just someone being a jerk. Although it can be useful, I really dislike eBay's feedback system for reasons like this...
Best of luck getting this resolved. You'd be surprised at how quickly eBay responds to situations like this. They are taking their company a lot more seriously now then they did in the past.
