You crack me up Angela. Here I am always trying
to stay out of confrontations, even when I am involved,
and you are jumping in with both feet and your not
even involved. :P

Well...I just could not keep my damn mouth shut. There was just something about her condescending tone that really rankled me. Point in fact - my post sounds much nicer than I intended. *sigh* I guess I'll just have to try harder next time.

Wow Roboflonne! You are creating a gallery! /no1

Back on topic. :D

I just read through the rest of the posts. Damn! I hope she gets the point. No one has the right to tell someone how they should sell their cels, and if a seller wants to sell a cel and keep the sketch, it's their business. And the price they set is also their business. If a buyer doesn't agree with it, then just don't buy it. Easy as that!......err right? I know I'm new so I don't have a lot of merit, but it just seems that easy.

1 - Find cel, look at price.
2 - Buy, or don't buy!

Gahhh!

I can't imagine actually contacting a seller and asking them to lower the price because I don't think it's fair. :? I would be embarrassed.

Does this happen a lot to sellers on ebay?

I agree to some extent. It kinda fustrates me when someone cels a sketch seperate from a cel... that is their business... They can do what they want. Just buy both if you really want both.. HAHA Sometimes I am happy just to get a sketch from a cel that it may not really match... but I have a cel from the same sequence so it is close enough. When cels are seperated from sketches... this is where people like me can swoop in. lol

A seller can do what they want in terms of selling thier stuff... but there is a time and place for everything which brings to me to my next topic of what I do not like...

In terms of pricing though, one thing I have found that I dislike is someone who sets up a sales page with prices and then e-mails you saying "oh, I have received other e-mails so I am now taking offers even though your order was first for this cel". Not those exact words but you get the picture. Then again, that is why people will sometimes do offer periods on cels first and then create a sales page to just get rid of stuff. Or... you could put a disclaimer saying OBO and that solves that issue.

I know I try my best to not create problems but when things like what i stated above and what is going on w/ this ebay buyer happens... it helps to inform the community so they are also aware of the situation because it could easily effect them. It is a close community so at least when the accused start doing positive things in terms of buying/selling, the community will also find out about that as well. 8)

Well, I think everyone has ripped her apart as much as
needs to. I have seen worse liars then her. I have some
really bad memories of people who have told me lies,
including that thier father died, just so they didn't have to
send money. She is young, and I am sure learned her
lesson. I say give her a break and teach her how to be
a good collector. Sitting here bitching about it any further
is going to get us all nowhere.

Yeah, it is kind of a bummer to see a cel and sketch seperated. :l

Hmmm, I've never had an experience with a seller who had a set price and then decided to take a highest offer after my order was placed. That certainly doesn't seem right. :? Offer periods seem like a good way to start a sale, and try to get the most amount of money possible, but I also think some people decide to skip the offer period, and make a sales page to save time from getting tons of emails. I have had good transactions both with gallery offers, and buying on sales pages from private sellers.

Gods....It takes a lot for me to get angry, expecially on a computer.... I had to post about her. Everyone just be carefull of this woman. I read her victim cries on the rubberslug forum, and I am tired of her making up these bs stories about how my cels should be hers. I gave her a chance and she missed it. Im tired of her student loans, Im tired of her talking about how she knows my life...im tired of hearing about how sesshoumaru should be married to her on the 45th day of december.
She has used deceptive methods before she vanished to get a few of my other cels :?

I once had someone promise to sell me a Sai layout
for $250, if they ever sold it. A few months later,
someone emailed them and offered them $900.
They were nice enough to email me and tell me if
I came up with $900 first, then I could have it. Well,
that wasn't going to happen, and the other person
got it.

I also was promised a opening credits Sai set from a
good friend, who said that they would sell it to me, if
and when they ever decided to sell it. I later found out
that they sold it to someone else. Why, cause that
someone was willing to pay them $4000 for it. This
person was a good friend of mine as well, and offered
to sell it to me for the $4000 that they paid. Sorry, I
don't have that kind of money to spend on genga sets.

In the end, it all comes down to the almighty buck.
Its amazing that $$ signs can make even your closest
friends forget about their promises. :l Luckily, I am
very understanding, and I got over it, but some people
never get over these kinds of things, and that is why
a lot of collectors go private, and friendships are broke.
You always have to remember - this is just a hobby!!
