Whoa is this nuts!! O_O

Post by Gonzai »

This bidder on eBay managed to, in less then
1/2 hour, bid on $6636.95 in auctions - including
10 of mine. Nine of them he did BINs on, and 1
of them he outbid someone. 8O

Think its legit, or do you suppose someone was
just having fun with his ID on a computer somewhere?? :hurt:

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V ... ed=1&all=0

If its not legit, I am going to be pissed, cause I will
have to re-list my auctions all over again. X|

She just bid on all of my auctions as well, including the big one.
Now, I am starting to get nervous. Should we cancel her out?

It seems like someone screwing around or stealing his account. I'd be
willing to bet that you'll end up relisting them :(

Well, I have just reported them to Ebay as possible stolen account. So, looks like I will just have to contact the 2nd bidder of the ended auction. :x

Hmmm...that does look pretty fishy :? Have you e-mailed them about it?

I hope it's not as weird as it looks!!! :(

But is it for sure a bogus bid? Who knows, anything could happen.

Well, its kinda hard to imagine that he can just come
up with $6600 just like that. He bid on 79 auctions
in less then 30 minutes. I will be thrilled if its legit,
however, with my luck - that's just not the case. :hurt:

I just went and cancelled the person from all my auctions. They suddenly went back and bought all of my items on another Ebay account. So, I had to block them out and cancel their bids, and then contacted Ebay. This is definitely not legit. I have been on Ebay for 8 years now and I know a stinky bidder when I see one. This just has his stench written all over it. Be careful guys.

Nida, just block him out right now. And go to the bids section of your auctions and cancel out all of his bids. I wouldn't risk it.

I hope it turns out OK (crosses fingers), but I wouldn't necessarily assume he won't pay. When I first started buying cels on ebay, I probably scared a lot of people too. I won a lot of money in a raffle and was eager to just jump into cel collecting. I was very offended when my bid was cancelled by a nervous seller. I never bought from them again. I spent over $10,000 that first month.

I'm not saying that the behavior is suspicious. It is very much so; but be careful about jumping to conclusions.

Gee, how interesting. He apparently has more than doubled the amount of auctions he is bidding on since 30 minutes ago.
