Alot of people put items on their watchlist and don't bid, it's just something that you learn to deal with when you're selling. ^_^; There are many reasons. Some people might forget to bid and others might just be watching to see how high it goes out of curiosity. Perhaps they want to see the average price of a piece of fanart such as yours incase they have something similar to sell or just to get a general idea of the market price. There could be many reasons why people watch items but don't bid.
I've gotten a lot of watchers on my auctions in the past (13 on one item once!) but most of the time I only get one bid or nothing at all. It's very frustrating, so I know your pain
Some people just like to watch an auction, with no intention of bidding.
They don't forget to bid, they never intended to bid at all. They watch just
to see what the item will go for. Kind of like watching a reality TV show.
I know this because I'm one of those watchers sometimes.
*sniff* and some people watch the auction, intending to bid on it, and then discover that they can't really connect their ancient laptop to the high-speed internet connection in the hotel room after all!
I am painting a fan cel of human Inuyasha
(I reproduce the human Inuyasha with Teissaga in his hands and the moon steps around him but I drawn him with opened eyes)
I don't know when I will finish it but I will put it on Ebay.com ^_~
