I'm overheated and cranky today, so I think I'll be the one to vent -

]" p.s. The Cute Anime Guy said I should use the Ebay Store as the gallery since it would be easier for people to search and look at! Also it would be super easy to update if he wanted to sell any!! The prices aren't really inexpensive, so he really doesn't think many people will buy them. But if he did want to sell them, he'd tell me to lower the prices! "[/color]
Easier to search and look than what? A print catalog? A foreign-language phone book? Usually I don't have to plow through over 100 lines of text regarding shipping concerns, customer affirmations, check-my-feedback reassurances, or multiple frames and text hawking for potential buyers, etc., to view a cel or sketch in someone's gallery. What I do read through in a real gallery is text about what that cel or sketch means to the owner, or the background of the scene or show, or even a semi-inarticulate gush of pride or love for obtaining and owning it and what I do see in real collectors' galleries are lovingly created design colors and elements just to showcase the spirit of the collector.
Just because eBay uses the term "picture gallery" if you spend the extra pennies to have your pix display with your store listings, that doesn't make it a collector's gallery. It's still a store, no matter what rationalization somebody tries to give! (And you'll be paying more after August 20th for that easiness, as well.)
Ok, rant over. Time for lemonade, and I think this thread belongs in the eBay topic.
