Which items are you referring to? On Ebay, people would complain even if you list it for $1.00.

*has two of your auctions on watch*

Having bought from you many times, most of the time the prices are reasonable.

I can only think of a few times where the BIN prices were abit too high, but after you slashed the price on the second relisting, they all went.

But as Jeannie said also, Ebay, people are cheap.

Maybe in the future, a price check with board members would be a good idea.

Well, Nida also charges the price she paid for. So, it may seem expensive to an cheap Ebay person. But, it is not expensive if that is the value of the item. It is completely reasonable in my opinion. I mean, I have purchased a $650 item and ended up selling it for $49 on Ebay 3 months later, and still had people complained on how expensive it was and tried to bargain.

So, you will always get cheap **** on the net! :-) The best part about Ebay is that you can ask whatever price you want, and no one is obligated to buy from you if they don't want to.

I think they seem fair and I agree with what's been said so far, people on ebay are soooooo cheap they practically expect you to pay them to take the object of your hands.

What bugs me most selling on ebay is people asking incessent nit-picky questions not to mention the bluntness of some people grrrr! To me the customer is always wrong, hence why I'll never have a career in retail! :P

They seem about right to me. But I agree with what's been said. A lot of people on eBay are cheap-o. I've had so many items not even sell that were .99 to start, with combined shipping for no additional charge. Items I paid $50 I couldnt' sell for .99. =S But that's the fun of eBay I guess. =\

I'm totally done with Ebay. Not only are the items ending up at prices that I find rediculously low...some of the people buying them are extremely rude. I had one person mad because I shipped out their items too soon. Another person mad because they had to pay my "high" shipping prices for their auctions - they got a $250 item for about $20. Yeah...I'm over it.

I do wish you the best of luck....but you know how things go. I think your prices are very reasonable. But what do I know.

Worst thing that will happen is that they won't sell  Either that or someone will get a "Bargain" :D

you're right jenn...whenever I see a message in my ebay inbox, I cringe knowing that there will likely be something rude inside. I recently have been experiencing a sense of entitlement for lightning-fast shipping when I am not a store, nor do I specify ship times in my auctions. I'd hate to write a disclaimer on my auctions because it makes sellers sound cratchety. -_-

i hope i dont offend if i play devils advocate for a second here...
i just think that with the economy being the way it is, people just dont have the money to spend like they used to.
i know people still want to keep collecting and stuff but i think they just dont have the money to spend anymore.

say, for example, you pay a hundred for a piece a few years ago… well because of the economy today you probably wont be able to get half that right now. but who knows maybe in a few more years when the market is stable again then it might be worth two hundred! it stinks but thats the way collecting is.
*going into long winded conversation here*
i know back like ten years ago… yeah im kicking myself here… i collected trading cards. i probably spent about five hundred dollars on those cards. i grew out of the hobby and tried to sell them and i couldnt! i didnt do ebay because i didnt have a computer at the time and there wasnt the places that would sell your stuff on ebay for you. but i ended up giving 90 per cent of it to the thrift store! it sucks but well, what could i do? i think its just the nature of the beast called collecting.

what used to go for a certain ammount perhaps a year ago, today people would not be so quick to spend anymore (oh but im talking in general, not about what you have on ebay there! personally i think youre selling your pieces for far too low!).
of course, i dont know your situation but just a thought… why dont you keep your pieces and see about selling them maybe a year from now when the market will perhaps stablize and people will have money to spend again?

*slowly crawls down off the soapbox*

:run

/sry

(oh but also i wanted to say that the people who are rhude are just absolutely uncalled for!! ebay might be a buisness for some but for majority of people its just a way to get a few extra bucks on the side and their's no need for buyers to be like that!!!)

Your starting prices are certainly reasonable. Sellers must of cse consider what they paid for when listing :)
