Before I drop a line to the seller, can anybody positively ID as not an ending credits cel?? I couldn't find it and I'm pretty sure it's from the Shiori/Red Tessaiga arc ..... but :shrug fanatic that I am -- easily could be wrong :P

You're correct....I have a sequence mate in my gallery where I have a screencap from episode 74. Plus, my guess is it's a matching COPY background similar to mine.

Thanks AO 8) -- I would've hated someone unsuspectingly buying the cel thinking it was from the ending credits.

....and on a side note -- what's with the 'e-mail me for the sequence #'??

Here's hoping it's an honest mistake.

This seller sounds terribly odd. In some descriptions they say that they are "dying inside" (severely ill?), yet in others they claim that "debt has got me in a stranglehold."

If they're going to try and elicit sympathy, at least they could get their story straight...

I would guess that they had images of these cels uploaded somewhere else and couldn't be bothered to look up the sequence numbers before posting to eBay. Either that, or these cels are listed on some dealer's site...and this person will only inquire to the dealer after someone asks THEM. *sigh*

Wow. Heaven forbid someone be a little awkward with their English.

The seller doesn't seem to be saying it's an Ending cel (yes, I see the ED in the title), just that it's the last cel in a "secuence' [sic] (this cel is from the end of the secuence).

And the dying inside comment (dying inside to have to sell my cels) just means they're unhappy to be selling their cels (An emotion many of us can indeed understand), not that they're trying to elicit sympathy bids.....

Hate to get in the middle of this since I was only answering the question, but the wording has been revised from what it orginally said.

It did imply it was an ending credit cel.

Actually, I've had several replies from the eBay seller -- I provided him with a screencap after he asked for one. He was very nice and stated that he didn't know -- that he'd gotten the cel off YJ where he had mistakenly translated it as 'ending cel'.

He stated he was going to revise his description -- and he has => I still wish he would post the sequence # in his auction -- especially as he states that it's a 'cel from the end of the sequence' -- is it a true 'sequence # END' cel? (I always wonder why people in this hobby would leave out such an important identifying factor??)

I do realize it's all about how you say something:

'matching background' = leave out 'copy'
'end of the sequence' = 'ending cel' = END cel

I hope people read auctions closely -- nothing is mis-represented in fact.
