Question about a member on ebay: mywickedlyweirdnature

Post by chibikitty2045 »

Well, after 4 months of back and forth between this individual, I have finally reached my limit.
I am pretty easy to please and will help a fellow collector whenever I can on ebay and other places. Especially if I have a cel that they really want in my collection.
I am willing to make payment plans and hold cels for a long time and yes even lower prices if they really want an item.

The first question they asked were if they take payment plans on a few of my higher end cels. After explaining to them that I did not, they emailed me begging me to take a payment plan. I finally gave in and was willing to work out a payment plan for them. They then told me that they were in school and they would find 'someway' to pay for the cel. Again, I stated that I would work with them, then they informed me that they would sell their plasma to get the funds... after 2 weeks of not hearing anything else, I placed the cels back on the market for other potential buyers. Seeing that they obviously did not have the funds to pay for the items.

To make a long story short, I finally blew my fuse with this person today as they are now accusing me of scamming them because I refuse to work with them anylonger and saying that they hope I think of them as my cels sit on ebay (wtf?). getting emails about how they feel I should price my items.
I have since blocked this person from my auctions and sales
I want to know if anyone else is having similar problems?
anyone know who this person is? I would like to block them altogether besides ebay alone... :?

"mywickedlyweirdnature"

The name raises RED FLAGS... lol... Image j/k

If they haven't sent you any money for down payment... It's your cel and you can sell to anyone and for any price... Just must be their "wickedlyweirdnature" I guess! Image

All the payment plans I've been on and have given others... have always gone through perfectly... I'm very sorry to hear about your experience! Hope it never happens again! Image

LOL!
Good advice.
they have excellent feedback, but I see none really for cels.

Now its just at the point where they are trying to harrass me for my cels by sending me multiple emails about how they think it should work it out for them.

This is a very strange situation... LOL

Did you see the review they did on "production cel scammers"

http://reviews.ebay.com/Production-Cel- ... 0008545741

What a retarded post. It is true, cels do go down in value but you gotta learn to meet at least half way. (Is a huge bargain hunter ~_~) There is a Sailor Moon cel that I bought at $60 and cant sell the damn thing for $45 if my life depended on it. LOL It happens. I know if I try to sell alot of my AnC cels.. I would be lucky to get half of what I paid for them. ;_; oh well. It happens. I do not think collectors buy cels just to turn and make a profit off of them. I am sure there are some, but most just want to collect cels from their favorite shows and scenes and etc. It seems we are lucky if we break even if anything. @_@ That post is such BS!

And that comment about "Before you buy your dream cel make sure it has a sketch and background otherwise the price should be lower to accomodate these missing pieces!"

What the hell?!?! This is complete bullshit. Sometimes cels do not have matching sketches because they were lost by the studio. They sometimes lose backgrounds.. sometimes there was not a background(in the case of a Chidori death scene cel that I have because of the blurry effects they used in the animation). Yes, it is great to get a matching sketch and background, but sometimes it just doesn't happen.

http://iwakuralain16.rubberslug.com/gal ... mID=212505
When I started collecting, the cel above was high on my wishlist. It came with a partial sketch and no background. I would have easily paid anime-link double what I paid them for this cel and that is for just the cel.. no back no sketch.. no nothing. Dream cels are supposed to be high on everyone's list so expect to pay up whether it is a complete set or not.

They should be happy Chibi made an effort to work with them. Alot of actual anime stores would not have done that but it happens alot between collectors.

If you can't afford the hobby, then don't bitch because a collector is not wanting to sell thier cels to you for pennies on the dollar. Especially if they offered to lower the price for you(especially if it is a considerable amount). There are alot of cels I have missed out on because I am not a high roller... but I am thankful for what I have. Image

Forward their emails to ebay
Good tip, I did that a few minutes ago. Hopefully, this person will stop spamming my inbox, seeming how yahoo is doing an ubberly craptacular job about that....

lol, I read that bit as well and laughed
I instantly thought of the last unicorn and how the average cel is around 1k EASY and how many of the peices have been seperated by the dealers and collectors thought the years.

She seems to think that I owe her these cels...
and that I am out to make a profit and not in it for the art.. WTF?
its a very weird situation indeed.
I would never begrudge someone their dream cel but this is outlandish

I cannot stress this enough! Many sellers will only put up part of a cel for auction hoping to make back the money they lost! This is a scam to you, the buyer! An incomplete work should not cost as much as a complete one! Before you buy your dream cel make sure it has a sketch and background otherwise the price should be lower to accomodate these missing pieces!

Lol... Can not stress enough that because a cel doesn't have a sketch or background then the seller is trying to scam them... whoa.... Image

lol.....

I feel sorry for you Chibykitty!!! Image

Lol... I bet your cel didn't have the original background so you must be a scammer... Image

I guess everyone who sells cels are scammers... Because very few of cels I see have an original background... Image

OMG - this person is the biggest pain in the arse!! :?
Everytime I put a Sesshoumaru auction up, they email
multiple times about everything. They say they want
to buy, then decide they want something different.
Whatever - get a life. >_<

A cel is only worth what the buyer is willing to pay - be it
with or without the original sketch or background. I have
a couple cels that cost me thousands of dollars, but I was
willing to pay that much, thus making the cel worth that
much - well at least to me. One of the cels is the complete
setup, the other one only has the matching sketches and
no background.

This person is a dumbass. I would not get into any payment
plans with her, and I am about at the point where I am going
to ignore all of her questions from here on out. -_-

I just read the guide.... :? It doesn't even make sense. Just sounds like nonsense ramble when they didn't get their way on a sale.

Another person just found this guide not helpful :dgrin

But seriously, it sounds like they are convinced they think their always right about cels & their values, and if a seller/dealer doesn't accommodate their standards, well, the poor seller/dealer will get a bitch session. :hurt:

I wouldn't deal with them either. You don't need the hassle Chibikitty.

Ack Nida, I hope they don't start bugging you about the Sessy listed. X|

'Was this guide helpful?'

NO

Sounds like a strange situation though, from what you've said (and after reading that stupid 'guide') I certainly wouldn't want to deal with them either. You know it'd be more hassle then it's worth.

this is one of the many emails that we bantered about.
she says she is being a smart shopper and looking out to avoid buying fake cels. I seriously think that she just has an obsession of sesshoumaru that is growing out of proportion 8O
dont worry you wont be buying anything from me and you can just watch them on ebay. I have been nice to you up until this point. you offer double what I was asking, then do not get back to me. you have wasted my time and I do not need someone like you constantly trying to 'negotiate' around my prices. You know the value of these cels so please, as you said, look else where and see if you get a better price for such nice shots. You claim to have seen better, but you have not purchased. I am being 'clipped' about it because I told you over and over again that I would not be accepting payment plans, then you do not get back to me after 3 weeks and out of the blue you want to lower my prices for MY cels? As said before, you think its a scam, then go somewhere else. My communication is done with you

now she is trying to ask me about why my cels have the offer option next to them and that she was going to make one :x

apparently there are several other dealers and collectors she has been emailing through ebay. They said that if they do not offer her a payment plan then she sends them the qoute from the guide..LMAO!

good qoute. To me, my cels are worth every penny i paid for them, even the incomplete pieces. I told her that the cels were wanted and not a life saving operation lol. I had them sent to ebay like glorff suggested, even the representative was like O_o;;; so i know its not just me lol.

OMG... this is you???

This buyer has been e-mailing me for the last couple of months or so about my Sessy cel. It is a dream cel of hers, so therefore I should be accommodating to whatever open-ended payment plan she comes up with. I've been offered $1k of money she doesn't have, and she doesn't know when she'll be able to save it all up, but she really wants me to put my cel on hold for her since she is a student and is poor, blah blah blah.

I've heard about her apartment getting robbed, that she has a CD she will break into once it is mature, and just yesterday she sent me an e-mail talking about a mean ebay seller who wouldn't work out a payment plan even though she offered to sell her plasma for it.

Is this girl nuts?

So far I haven't lost it with her because I find her dramatic e-mails rather entertaining, but I know that would be different if I actually had a contractual deal set out with her.

If anybody wants her real name, PM me and I'll tell you.

Yup, and dont waste your time on her Baylor -_-
She has put me through hell and high water for the past 4 months now.
She apparently is working 2 jobs going to school and just got a 1k refund from her student loan for living expenses...never told me about her home being robbed though.

I am assuming she showed you the payment plan that I laid out for her?
This was after we agreed upon 4 OTHER payment plans that would work out well in HER favor! I just finally got strict with her on the final payment plan and didnt hear anything back until yesterday.

She told me about her dream cel and that her 'friend' would work out a payment plan of $50 a month for it.....OR that she is expecting a 1k refund from her loans and will pay it off sooner O_o;;;

She obviously cannot afford these items and is just obsessed with owning sesshoumaru.
Before I sold 2 of my sesshy cels and she told me that she would only be willing to pay a certain amount since it was an ugly shot of him... she is loonie...
