yeah, you're absolutely right Kata, it is a really nice cel, not too often to have a chance at Battousai eyes like those!! Good Luck to all the bidders!!

wow. gorgeous (love the coloring/eyes).... it's not often you see a cel that nice - esp on ebay.

Well that was fun to watch, but I never saw Ms. Jenn's ID in that list......unless she used a different one?

If so she's sneaky.

That was fun to watch. I'm shocked it didn't go for more. I imagine if it was on YJ it probably would have gone a little higher. Granted it's not the perfect shot from the episode it's still a rare one.

Maybe it's just a sign of the times with this economy.

I can remember when cels from that specific sequence went well over 2K. Whomever won that beauty got it for a steal IMHO!

I admit that I was not personally interested in it due to how awkward it looked with the all the hands. Still, it was still a yellow-eyed battosai from episode 30. I think that $1K was a respectable closing price for that particular cel. The "ideal" shot would easily have pulled a lot more.

EDIT: OK that came out awkwardly. What I meant was that I think that it was a reasonable price for that cel. It was neither overpriced nor a steal.

I was actually in there. It's quite interesting, when not logged in, I could see how the bid list went. I was high bidder for a time, but the ID had nothing to do with my ID. Very interesting.

Anyhow, I compared the shot to the one I already own. I did not feel that the auction on Ebay merited more than $1K. Close to it? Yes. More? No. So, I backed off in the end. There are other shots that I would like to have more.
