So I bought something with BIN on ebay (non-cel item) and went ahead and paid it with paypal right after I won. And today I got that payment refunded to me, and a message from the seller saying:
"Unfortunately, this item had sold just moments before your order came through. PayPal said this happens only rarely. I issued an immediate refund to you and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused to you."
So how is this even possible? When I went back to that auction it still says that I won. o_O
Has this ever happened to anybody?

Re: ebay weirdness
actually, yeah, something very similar happened to me, it was a BIN anime dvd box set, the paypal went through then was refunded almost immediately by PP, someone hit the BIN a second before me, when I checked the listing it stated I had won, but that was changed after alittle while too.kamidake wrote:So I bought something with BIN on ebay (non-cel item) and went ahead and paid it with paypal right after I won. The only thing I can think of is that me and the other person pretty much hit BIN at about the same time, so we both "won" the auction. And the other person just processed their paypal payment slightly faster than me. *shakes fist*
