A year ago my ebay account was put on hold (suspended) because someone got into my ebay AND paypal account. After many battles and thinking that I was finally getting somewhere with these people (though I am almost certain I will be out the $400 i lost in my paypal account) I have been told that they 'MAY' be able to help me.
The ebay hacker was sending emails to past winning bidders to a website in china for cheap electronics that do not exist. If anyone has had an issue like this before please let me know.
Apparently, the person then used my paypal account to get the funds from my bank account, then have the money sent to the paypal name: hjsghuheirw@yahoo.hk
Paypal put my account on alert, then told me I couldnt recoup my funds because the money was already taken from the hjsghuheirw@yahoo.hk email before they froze it. I contacted my bank, who is dealing with the situation as we speak.
Some of you may have noticed that I am now selling with a friend in order to slimdown my collection.
Please take precautions with your accounts. I thought I did everything possible but apparently, I am not the only one this has happened too in my area -_-
