lol Go-on, woman! Nah, after I thought about that. . . I do recall my dad mentioning some hoopla about one of the older judges making a comment about one of the "lady lawyers" in court one day. Yes, age does have a GREAT deal to do with men's views on women. Just. . . that w&*#& comment just baffled me to no-end. What an idjut.
And as far as everyone elses comments. . . I've seen a few jackasses in the legal profession, believe me you. But most of these are restricted to those lawyers seeking "political" careers. And as far as hannalaeh and baakay's experience with former employers. . . I really hate that you guys had that experience. I know my father and every partner he's ever had have absolutely worshipped the ground their secretaries walked-on. They're all very well aware of how much of the practice is dependent on them and I think they know they'd be rather lost without them.

Actually, I think the world would spin better if ALL MEN find and acknowledge a good women and any good opinions given.
Vice versa.
If I can teach my girls this, that would be great. If only there was a handbook that showed me how to raise 2 little angels...and have them stay that way....hmmmmm. My biggest fears is that they will be in a profession where they are made to feel small or worst. Hearing this does not help. The good part is that one wants to be a doctor and the other wants to be a nurse....let's see how that will turn out!

Hey at least yours doesn't want to be a ticket taker at a movie theater!! That's what Jen said a couple of years ago. Right now, though, we have a palentologist/artist, and a singer/dancer. And they both do karate. At least... they're not... normal.
