Coolest News Ever!

Post by Chef_Charley »

I was involved in one of the coolest things I've ever been involved with today. My older bro Joe and I went to the mall to go to Suncoast and there was a new shoe store there with a woman yelling about a two minute shopping spree contest. So we are like why not so we enter it. Turns out my bro(poor guy is suffering through an injured foot, lol) wins. So he gets a two minute spree through the store. you bring one pair of shoes up to the counter at a time then run back and get another. He got ten total pairs and a hell of a lot of foot pain(ouch) but the total worth of shoes he got was close to $600!!! He ended up having me choose 4 pairs for myself out of his then..you could pick the sizes, so all in all I got a nice mix of dress shoes and sneakers, good ones Adaias, Skechers, Dockers, etc.. One of the most exciting things I've ever seen only to be beat by the Iron Chefish cooking contest I was involved in, but thats a different story for a different time, lol!

What an awesome contest, Charley! That is not an easy thing to do, either. You gotta find a shoe, then find your size. I'm a size 15, so it would be impossible for me. Congrats on a great day at the mall.

Wow! That sounds totally cool! How was your bro picked?/What did he have to do to win? Typical he had a bad foot tho, but a total of ten pairs of shoes is a good haul! :)

I'v always wanted to do one of those shopping dash things...they definetly look fun! :) Cool stuff!

Awesome story, Charley!! It's too bad your bro got picked, since he has a bad foot. But, he still did a heck of a lot better than I would have. Could be the "girl" in me, though --- I would have a hard time deciding what to pick first. You know us gals and our shoes! :D

So I heard about this two minute cel-dash . . . j/k :P (Theoretically, you could get a lot more than $600 worth)

Seriously though, that's awesome! What a nice big bro. you have.

That's cool! Congratulations! I'd have a hard time deciding which ones I wanted, so I'd probably end up with 10 pairs of shoes I'd never wear!
