in the past few weeks i've lost more faith in any thing due to the fact of finding out one of the few people i could ever count upon had died at the mere age of 24 of an heart attack none the less, life is ironic isnt it? im the one with heart problems, lung problems all sorts of problems. up the wazoo and my friend keels over and dies. well let me tell you something rather funny and gave me some shadow of hope or something akin to that. this afternoon i was walking to work normally i dont really pay any attention to whats going on around me, hell its a mile walk in the slow part of my home town.
well i heard this little pathtic mewling turned around and looked down and saw this little baby kitten with its eyes bearly opended, after some searching and knocking on doors i couldnt find its little mates or mom so now i have a little bundle of kitten asleep on my bed, so now im content and my heart is somewhat less pained. thought some one would get a smile from this at least i got one when im writeing this

Then the Dean repeated the mantra that has had such a marked effect on the progress of knowledge through the ages.
'Why don't we just mix up absolutely everything and see what happens?' he said.
And Ridcully responded with the traditional response. "It's got to be worth a try,' he said

You are not the only one.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I am so, so sorry for your loss, Makoli. I can't even imagine losing one of my friends now, much less when I was only 24. As others have said, 24 is way, way too young, and it's such a huge shock. My heart goes out to you for the pain and grief you must be experiencing righ tnow.
But, even with pain and grief comes some joy ... even if it's in the form of a little kitty. What a wonderful story, and that kitty is so lucky to find a caring person like you to take him in. I hope all goes well for you and your new furry bundle of joy.
*sends some extra hugs*
