A neg given when you were in the right is nothing to be ashamed of. Just leave a calm, factual follow-up to the neg and everyone can see who is in the right. It won't tarnish your feedback one bit. ^_^

If I listed something like that, I'd probably put something along the lines of, "please make sure this modem is compatible with your system before bidding". I've done similar when I've sold DVDs since some bidders seem to be unaware of region codes.

Well, I got a response and he said, "no problem and thanks." We'll see what happens in the next ninety days. So far, happy ending. Thanks again for everyone's opinions! This confirms my belief that beta is not just a place to talk about pretty plastic.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Hope everything works out ^_^
-Though next time add a disclaimer at the end...And even though I did the same thing "READ ENTIRE DESC. before buying" an idiot did not do that...And I don't know what he was angery about (the box had neve been open..and Without even telling me about it, he wrote this:

"I was very disappointed with the item I recieved."
And I said "ITEM WAS EXACTLY DESCRIBED, the buyer should have READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION!"
-This angerd me, me having only 98% + feed. now(0nly this neg. one), from a guy with only 6 feedbacks...
-But I know I did nothing wrong, so I can live with it...but still :O
-So I hope you get + feedback
