To all Anime/Jpop fans: Need a Song ID from very few Lyrics

Last week I went out for sushi with my boyfriend.

After they played some really odd, out of place lame 70's-ish elevator music, they started to play a series of cheezy Japanese music that sounded very late 80's early 90's.

Then, they played a song that we both agreed was VERY familiar, perhaps a theme to a recent anime, but neither one of us could tell what it was. I really want to find this song !

So, well here it goes..

All I can tell you is that its a pop song by a female vocalist (Im more of a Jrock fan so I dont know much jpop) and the chorus starts with "bokutachi wa" with the waaaa~ elongated..

Thats about it, lol..

I tried a Gundam Song and Ayumi Hamasaki song but neither one were right.
I also thought maybe Inu Yasha, but my bf hasnt watched that.

Any thoughts?

Also, what is the name of that new Naruto ED song?
