I can agree with the sentiment but Jonny Rotton goes about most things the wrong way and I think he's a complete tosser.
Opposing everything that's going seems to be his way and it doesn't leave me respecting him or the band.
An incident of a similar nature that I feel holds more impact was when Akira Kurosawa was offered an Oscar for his contribution to film. He stood up on stage and refused it saying the awards idea was "self congratulatory bull$h!t". LOL
