What do you do when it's pouring down rain outside...

I like to listen to the rain and watch it, inside preferably. But if I am rugged up I don't mind goin outside to watch it. But then there is the other me who likes to curl up in front of the heater and fall asleep. I suppose it depends on what mood I am in.

Growing up in the desert, I loved it when a rain storm would come. I would hang out on the porch and watch it move from West to East. Fascinated by the lightning strikes and rumble of the thunder. What a show nature would put on for a young child! I can still get the joy and excitement that I felt from smelling the rain falling on dry earth miles away, long before the rain would begin to fall overhead. There was nothing better to me. >Insert nostagicon here!< lol

Where I live now, when it rains it's usually just grey and it is very rare if there is a thunder storm. So I don't take the time to savor the wet event.

I head out for a soak. Not barefoot though. I like to put on a rain jacket and stand in the rain with a cigarette.

i talk about what BG im using on my desktop, my current is coloured manga

the rain doesnt bug me at all, but then i live in vancouver and it rains 10
months per year

I like to read, so I just lay back and enjoy my newest book.

Thunderstorms are a little different in that my dog's scared of thunder...in that case I sit down on her and read my book (otherwise she knock everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, in sight down) /wah
