translation help needed

Post by dude_moose »

In my advanced painting class, our final project is on an artist of our choice, and we have to write a paper about him/her.
So... I chose Yoshitaka Amano.
Our teacher wants a hard-copy source and I just so happen to have one of his artbooks, and it looks like it has a biography in the back of it that I can use :o
Unfortunately for me, it's all in Japanese, so I can't read it and it's due on tuesday :l

If anyone can help translate it or send me in the right direction, please do :)

here are links to images I photographed of the text
If higher resolution images are needed, I can supply them

Any help will be greatly appreciated :D

Does your teacher actually want to SEE the hardcopy source? I can't help you translate but a little shortcut might be to find something online that cites to a hardcopy source and use that ;)

Nice! They are from kiten right? I love the artbook!!! :) I should have them at my parents' place....

For translation I could help you but I am soooooooooooooo busy right now so I cannot garanttee..... :( :( (since I have not packed anything for a trip to Japan.... :( )

So if you can wait for a while (it means a couple weeks or three weeks or so....), I can :)

Lynxa- uhh.. I'm not sure. I talked to her and I know that she wanted at least one hardcopy source, but if I couldn't get one then she would live with that, seeing as he's kind of obscure as far as mainstream art goes.
I found some other sources online already.

kittens- Yup, it's from Kiten! It's a really great book :) I got it as a really late Christmas present- I originally wanted Hiten, but my mom ordered it and the deal fell through... So I picked this one out instead, because even though it costed more, it had like 3 times the pages.
The paper is due on Tuesday, so I cannot really wait too long >.<
Thanks for the offer :)

Is there anything I can say to help you make up your mind?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
