Minor Rant: Thread Titles

Sorry, but need to do a brief rant and get this off my chest. I'm sure most
of the reactions will be of this variety but such is life.

Is it too much to ask for that people actually title their threads something
that is descriptive of the contents inside? I get tired of all the threads like
"Is it just me or..." or "Has this happened to you?" or "I need help!". With
such vague titles, it's hard to remember what they're about from visit to visit
and I end up either having to waste time by checking each vaguely titled
thread or missing ones that I'm interested in.

I think it's more like this:



I find that as I age my brain disgards less useful info to make room for new data. Trying to bring to mind my co-workers names and what a thread was originally about no longer happens easily.

Yes...I too have to click those threads at least three or four times (sometimes five or six) before I can finally remember what they were about.

I am not really good with these.... So I am a guilty one I tried to write more descritive titles but there is a limit for the length

I do exactally the same. Even if I check daily I still find myself checking the same threads because I forget what they are about.

I agree. I can't remember what thread was about what and whatever it was
I wanted to find might as well be lost forever because I end up giving up.

A specific title might sound boring but it makes locating topics of interest
so much easier.
