Minesweeper. Do you play it?

Post by miz ducky »

Hi Ya!

I was just wondering if anyone out there still plays this game.

If so, what are your best times?

Someone taught me to play in the 10th grade and I've been playing ever since. I almost always play when I'm on the phone. I just click away to have something to do with my hands while I'm talking. (I can't write/type and talk at the same time.)

I've played since the sixth grade off and on. Right now, on my laptop these are my best times.

Beginner: 8 seconds

Intermediate: 48 seconds

Expert: 168 seconds

I think that I had better times at some point using a real mouse rather than a touchpad, but it has been a while.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I used to be addicted when I was younger. I gradually migrated to Freecell since it's not timed, and I could play during lull's in lectures. Now my game of choice is Sukodu

Heh, I know what I'm going to be doing after this though... :D

Wow, I don't even try on a touchpad. Well I do use it when I have to, but since I have a mouse attached to my laptop, my best times reflect that.

My current best times on this computer are:
4 sec, 20 sec, 142 sec

but I know that my all time bests are at least:
2 sec, 18 sec, 99 sec

I know, I play too much.

I still play it on and off. My best times are

Beginner - 9sec
Intermediate - 49
Expert - 149

I only play the expert now, it seems more challenging. Somethimes I like making custom boards.
