Has this ever happened to anyone else...Shipping

Ok im getting so mad at my post office. I mailed cels off on monday/tuesday. I never heard anything from anyone saying they got their cels or not. I go into the post office to mail the rest of the cels off today. An I check to see if anything got returned (because it has happen to my before when shipping over seas. It got returned saying the box was to big???) So they told me that some stuff got returned to me. An gave me back everything I shipped on monday. They didnt even tell me why it was sent back.

Im starting to wonder if its just the post office trying to get more money.

So now I have to repack everything and ship it out again on monday.


Let me know if something like this has happen to anyone else.

I had a problem at the end of April when I sent a package to Nene via airmail parcel post. Weeks went by and she never received the package. I emailed USPS and even visited my local PO a couple times a week to inquire about the package and no one was helpful even one bit. She finally received the package a couple weeks ago and told me that 'eco rate' was written on it. So apparently I paid for airmail parcel and it was sent economy! Talk about someone being upset.

I once sent out a package and got it returned to me. Apparently, it got all the way to its destination, only to be returned because that person did not live there. It was her stepdad's (or mom's boyfriend's, I can't remember) house, so I wasn't sure if he sent it back or if the postman figured he was doing me a favor by returning it. She had just moved in, so she shouldn't have received that much mail there yet.

Anyway, I was sneaky, and I removed the label and the "return to sender" stuff, and resent it with her name and c/o the guy's name. It ended up going through, so I didn't have to pay for postage twice.

Yeah, I live in a tiny town, and the Post Office has done that to me numbers of times. I've actually gotten to where I drive like 20 minutes away just to ship stuff, because I know there's a high chance my post office will peel tape, ''confuse" "DO NOT BEND" with the address *rolls eyes*.

I think it's a conspiracy.

Were you using flat rate boxes? THey changed the boxes recently and now they must charge you the flat rate fee if you use one of those boxes or it will be returned to you. I know i mailed off something for ebay using one of those and it was weighed but that was weeks ago so im sure the buyer would have contacted me if it wast lost.

I ordered a cel I from you or Baylor that was packaged really well using a flat rate box so now I package cels that way too. guess ill have to get some brown paper to wrap them in so i can still get a good price for shipping cels.

Hey all..thanks for letting me know it has happen to other people as well. Like I said its happen to me before but with over seas items.

This time it happen with all the boxes I sent out. Even the ones that didnt say "Flat Rate"

I think im going to try a new post office..the people at this one are rude anyways.

Closest I've gotten recently is when I sent out a package to Brazil around a month or so ago, and even had it weighed at the postoffice. The label came off, so I had to take it home and attach a new one, later it comes back saying it was needing an additional 90 cents worth of postage.

So, that left me pretty clueless, and made the girl wait even longer. I'm not even sure if she's gotten it yet.


Other than that, i can't remember any other cases in recent times though.
