San Diego wildfires
these fires are really getting close to my area and voluntary evacuations are being declared. Makes you think about that hypothetical question about what items (cels and personal items, of course after your loved ones are out of harms way) you would save if your house was burning.
im packing my kenshin/ naruto cels in big boxes ready to go.

Which ones?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I was wondering about the cel collectors who live in CA the other day... I am retarded when it comes to where everything is at in CA so I didn't know who lived where. What about Anime Jewell and anime-link? o_O I know they are both located in CA but i don't know where... I don't know what I would do in this situation!! Especailly when the large cels are kind of a pain to lug around. @_@ AAAH.

Hope the area you guys live in will be alright.
The fires are mostly rather far away from where I'm at here in Los Angeles, but I'm still seeing ash drifting through air sometimes. It's not something you want to breathe in.
The fires are even showing up on the weather doppler radar map here:

I know how you feel- my boyfriend's and my brand new house is right there between San Diego and Riverside county, and he sent me a photograph that he took from the backyard- where you can actually see the fires burning!
I'm not there yet- I have been finishing up a local job and I am supposed to move the week before Thanksgiving- hope there will still be a house to move in to!
I already told my boyfriend to save the dogs, the bunny, himself, and my kimono. Luckily, I have kept my entire cel collection with me.
