Rubberslug shop

Post by MDKiller1 »

Hey :)

I was adding tons of Sailormoon cels to the rubberslug shop today. Then I started looking through the cels that are already there. I noticed that theres alot of cels from when the shop first opened. I was wondering if they are still there do to no one looking at the shop, no one buying them or people have sold them through other sources and just havent taken them down?

How many of you have sold stuff on the shop?

Perhaps 50%.

I've sold 2 or 3 pieces there and one person agreed to buy a high-priced douga and put it on hold, so it essentially sold. But surprise, surprise, they didn't pay up for some reason- I hate it when people do that!

I imagine people do check it from time to time but there's no sense of urgency to buy an item in the shop; unlike an auction where the clock is ticking and you need to make the purchase quickly or loose out.

It's a good idea to list your items there, MD, since you don't pay fees, but don't expect a rush of prompt transactions.

things did get worse...

Thanks everyone :)

Im not worried about selling the cels fast that I put there. I was just wondering if anyone really looks at the shop..or if anyone has sold stuff..and how often.

I myself have bought I think one cel off there when it first opened :)

I've bought from the shop, but I've never sold.

(I did donate, but I never got a "medal" and the link to be able to put something in the shop never "opened" in my account.)

How long ago was it when you donated miz ducky? It took about 3 weeks for the link to open for me. If it has been longer than that I would contact Jason to see what happened?

I bought one cel in the shop, but I have never tried to sell so I don't know. Stuff doesn't seem to move very fast from there and I don't check it very often.

I've actually been able to sell everything I've placed
in the shop.
*knocks on wood*
:^^:

Granted it did take months but its nice not having
to pay the evilbay fees or have to setup a website page
for the sale items (that is if your not in a hurry)

I think the fastest I've sold was 2-3 weeks after
posting. /hmm
