Paypal is driving me nuts

I get to the checkout, and get an error. Has anyone encountered this, and if so, does it last long?

Ughhh...paypal drives me nuts constantly! I've had quite a few problems with them, and have spent time on the phone with numerous supervisors, who never resolve anything. It's a losing battle. As far as the error message - Give it some time. Try back in an hour or so, and they will probably have the checkout problem resolved. The last time that happened to me; I e-mailed my seller to let them know, and I was able to make the payment later that night. Hopefully they will fix the problem soon.

How frustrating! I don't think I've experienced that before but one time couldn't access my funds for a bank transfer. The next day all things were fine. I hope the issue is resolved for you soon.

PayPal goes down for maintainance every Thursday night for a few hours. And depending on where you live, it could be Friday morning for you. Could that have been your problem?

I've been trying at least once an hour and still no go...
EDIT-nevermind.. but this still has made me nervous about using paypal..
