Can anyone recommend a good blogging host or service? It's something I've been looking into getting in (to help with some of my writing goals), but I have no idea what constitutes a good service. I'd like to have one with picture hosting capabilities if possible. Any suggestions?

I'll second blogger.com. You can keep your blogs private or have them open for the public.
