If anyone else wants to share funny experiences at work here go right ahead.
Here is my most recent one:
Basically, for the past few weeks I've been working on a website that sells fireplaces for a client and all was going well. The other day I get an e-mail from one of my work partners saying he had spoke to the guy it was for, he's happy with the progress all is good etc...
Then I'm told he also owns an adult website too and needs to add some new products (over 1000 to be exact) to the site and since he's snowed over could I decide on the best categories to put them in on the site. Of course, no worries, that's simple enough.
Yesterday I start work on it and get a call from the guy asking how the two projects were going, he asked me what I'd been working on the sex toys site or the fireplace site, I was about to answer the question then my dad walked in and after engaging my brain I said "uh, the first one"
He joked and asked if someone else was around and I said that my dad just walked in and thought it might be tough to explain why I'd just said sex toys on the phone to another man.
I thought it would be quite difficult to move on from that you see
the guy started laughing so much it set me off and it got to the point we couldn't finish our conversation and had to just hang up.I was laughing for about 10 minutes straight after that. Some things just get you and when he burst out laughing uncontrollably I lost all sense of composure.
Just another day at the office I guess...
did your dad ask you what you were laughing at on the phone? XD
