The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
-I, Robot (Asimov)

As much as I liked Ziggy I do think he was replaced by getting Pavol Demitra who is his equal in talent (Like Pallfy he lead St. Louis in total scoring) JR will help at center (replacing the hurt Jason Allison). What the Kings have going for them is the crop of young talent who did well in the minors during the lockout.
Wait a little to see what the whole team looks like before lamenting the loss of a favorite player. WE still need to sign a goaltender be it Chechmonic or another.
"Like the wind crying endlessly through the universe, Time carries away the names and the deeds of conquerors and commoners alike. And all that we are, all that remains, is in the memories of those who cared we came this way for a brief moment." Harlan Ellison
I'm feeling the pinch of the "new and improved" NHL this week as well! Peter Forsberg and Adam Foote just departed the Avalanche. Not only are we left with just one player with his name on both Av's cups (Sakic), but they just signed the all around good-sportsman cleanest player in the league, Brad May from Vancouver.
I do have to say it's going to be interesting keeping up with all the deck shuffling. Satan on the Islanders.....Pronger in Edmonton.....Roenick in L.A......this is going to require some homework
