I'm with the kissing would bother me more than the snake group. :D But don't people kiss cats and dogs too???

In defense of the snake, :^^: snakes have salmonella only when they are kept in dirty cages. I've had mine tested a couple of times and they don't have it. Lizards and turtles are the same way...if they are kept in dirty cages and have feces all over them, then they will have salmonella on their skin. If they are kept clean environments there is nothing to worry about.

But then again, I don't kiss my snakes too often... 8O
