This is probably the most evenly matched series I've watched since the 1991 series between the Twins and the Braves.

Initially I didn't really care about who won but now for me it's like .... Go White Sox! I know that Houston has never won it so I wouldn't be too heartbroken if the Sox lose but damn ..... 1917?? Come on .... I gotta pull for these guys. Last year my Red Sox finally got that ape off their back.... I'm hoping the same for the White Sox.... and yep Pudgester ..... 2 to go ...... :yay

Only two more to go? Hmm... As Indiana Jones once said.

Personally, I'm just hoping for a good series. Last year's series, while enjoyable for me, was a runaway. I want seven games of back and forth action and nail-biting plays. So far, so good!

And BO is right. Things have a way of changing when you enter Minute Maid park in Houston.

Oh well.

Astros just didn't play well enough. They had their chances... no excuses. They could have scored so many times.

White Sox just played better. Congrats to them, maybe next year Astros.

Anyone think we'll lose Clemens after this year?

Congrats to the White Sox (and Pudge) for winning the World Cup.

I mean World Series. =P

Think Clemens might finally retire? He should have gone out on a high note, and maybe this series run will be a somewhat high note.

Holy crap.

This tells you how much attention I've been paying to the sports world in recent years -- sorry if this sounds perfectly retarded :) -- but he's STILL PLAYING??!!

8O

I wonder if that's some kind of record.

I don't think that Clemens will retire just yet. Every year the Astros have been moving up. Last year, they made it to the championship, and this year, to the World Series. Next year may be their year to win it all. :D
